Newcastle Libraries have made Reading Friends available for their housebound readers, delivered by the fantastic library team, they are offering a range of activities to some of the most isolated residents in the city. In partnership with Your Homes Newcastle, the plan is to expand and grow to develop Reading Friends into a major mechanism for supporting those who need it most. They are providing online support to get people started on their digital journey to connect with a friendly face and start conversations that can end in true friendships.
